I discovered a new (to me) book called "Cards that Pop Up, Flip & Slide " by Michael Jacobs. Check out this youtube video. I knew I had to try a few for Halloween. This is one of my favorites.
Download vampire here. Print on cardstock.
Score on the gray lines using a bone folder or table knife. Cut cardstock in half along the black line. Flip the blank piece so that the gray lines are on the opposite end.
Fold the score lines on the coffin piece; mountain fold near the coffin, valley fold for the other. Fold the blank piece just the opposite; valley fold, then mountain fold.
Staple the folded end of the coffin piece to the unfolded end of the blank one, placing a folded ribbon under the stapler. Staple the unfolded end of the coffin piece to the unfolded end of the blank one. Again, add a folded ribbon piece.
Pull both ends apart to see where the vampire appears then cut out a small triangle between the edge of the card and the edge of the coffin This way the vampire appears to be rising from the coffin..
