I'm hoping you have the same weird sense of humor that I do.
Start with a 15" tabletop wooden round from Lowe's. It's about $7 and it's shrink wrapped. (there seems to be something intrinsically wrong with shrink wrapped lumber) Prime it. Trace around the circle on a piece of newspaper. Cut it out and fold in in quarters to find the center. Tap a nail into the center. Make a compass with a pencil and a piece of string. Outline a border 1 1/2" from the edge.

Draw an "L" in the middle of the circle, then cross it with a 1 1/2" line as pictured above. Paint the line and border in red and the "L" in green. You may need to touch up the center in white.
You can place this in the center of a large wreath or use it in it's minimalist form as I have.
Do you get the joke?
