What do you do with that odd knife that you found at the church rummage sale? It's too pretty to toss, but basically useless without the spoon and fork. Wear it, of course! These would make great boutonniere holders for the groomsmen at a wedding.
Cut the handle of a silverplate knife with a hacksaw. Smooth the burred edges with a file. Mix two part epoxy and glue the pin back to the back of the handle.
Soak some oasis (the soft green foam used in flower arrangements) in water. Push the open edge of the knife onto the oasis and fill the hollow. Insert fresh flowers into the oasis and wear with pride.
